Flos Compass Box Ceiling Light_1

Compass Box is an extremely minimal lighting fixture that puts the emphasis on the space or object that is illuminated.

It is hard to find a more practical light fixture than the Compass Box. Sleek, minimal and compact, this lamp is subtle enough to allow the eye to focus on the illuminated highlight of the space. In fact, this Flos ceiling lamp is so versatile that it can also be mounted on the wall. Made of pressed steel, the rugged Compass Box features an outer shell and mounting system made of cast aluminium, which is available in a number of finishes: matte white, anodised aluminium, black, teak, wenge or beech. The Compass Box family comes with a variety of light output that feature 1, 2 or 4 bulbs that can each be positioned individually. This clever lighting system allows each of the lamps to be rotated up to 40 degrees in any direction.

The Compass Box ceiling light is an extremely flexible fixture that allows the user to personally customised the illumination easily at any time. The zone lighting provided by the Compass Box is ideal for highlighting art and objects in the space. For example, the spotlight is especially well suited for illuminating shelves and cabinets as well as pictures and sculptures. The minimal design ensures that the light itself does not detract from the overall ambience.

Combining the sleek look of clear glass and the precious appearance of plated metal, Tord Boontje, a celebrated designer and the head of Product Design Department at the Royal College of Art has created a new light that is born reminiscent of museum glass cases that preserve samples of luxurious, exotic vegetation found in remote, pristine jungles. A new etched metal Tangle was specifically designed to be encased in the Globe to achieve both an exotic natural appearance and levels of high light reflectivity. The Globe and the Tangle can also be used individually; while the Globe can also be used in conjunction with any Garland.

Selene Suspension Light

ClassiCon Selene Suspension Light_1

The beautiful Selene Suspension Lamp was designed in 2006 by Sandra Lindner.
Here you see a first-class suspension lamp made up of a hand-blown, clear glass ball and finishes off its original look with the very decorative electrical cord. A insect protection cover keeps unwelcome guests out of the glass bowl, and a lamp protection made of powder-coated metal completes this suspension lamp into a perfect ball lamp.
Because the glass ball is hand-blown, there is a possibility of tiny inclusions, like air bubbles, cannot be avoided.
Decorative, elegant and timeless the Selene Suspension Lamp delights anybody who encounters it.
